Fever103 Studio

Fever103 Studio is an initiative which gives emerging artists a platform to engage, perform and discuss new and established work in both workshops, readings and scene study sessions.

Curated and hosted by Callum Mackay, these sessions involve groups of emerging artists getting together to participate and build community through regular creative practice.

This is a program open for all; actors, writers, makers, dancers… we welcome creatives from all levels of experience to express interest.

Please note that these are not public sessions, but rather a closed space for each week’s artists to discuss and create work.

We aim to have lots of fresh faces in the room with each session - so whether you’re looking to attend regularly or once in a blue moon, please reach out!

Five Minutes to Close by Hugo Gutteridge (New Work, Play Reading)

It's 4 something AM, the bass pulses through the door of a night club, the air is full of smoke and in the corner, Jacob begins his existential crisis. This unending witching hour calls forth all the denizens of the night, a dealer, a queen, inter-dimensional eshays, a stranger in a dry-as-a-bone coat, the divine itself and, strangest of all, fucking poetry.

Simple by Maeve Hook (New Work, Play Reading)

Four people, fractured from society, undertake a show wrestling program to qualify for the battle that is life...in the world.. with other people.

Waterfowl by Callum Mackay (New Work, Development)

1989. Lawler, Samuel & Carter spend their final year at boarding school holding back their love under the smoke of cigarettes on brick walls and the sounds of Joy Division and The Cure.

2025. Thirty-five years they’ve been ripped apart by the words not said, brought back together for one final chance.
